Ticketmaster - How to Transfer Tickets & Forward Transfer Confirmation


Objective

This tutorial demonstrates how to transfer tickets in Ticketmaster and then forward the transfer confirmation email to your unique Ticket Collective email address. Follow these steps to ensure the transfer is completed correctly and documented.


Key Steps


  1. Navigate to your Ticket Collective dashboard.


  • Open theticketcollective.com and navigate to your personal user dashboard.
  • For ticket transfers, open the section entitled Track your Ticket Transfers.
  • Review the transfer instructions, as seen below. Keep this tab open.





  1. Log in to Ticketmaster and open My Account.


  • Sign in to your Ticketmaster account.
  • If you do not have an account, refer to the Ticketmaster account creation tutorial before continuing.
  • In the top-right corner, select My Account.


  1. Open Upcoming Events under My Tickets.


  • Under the My Tickets section, locate Upcoming Events.
  • Select Upcoming Events to view your active tickets.
  • Find the event for which you need to transfer tickets.


  1. Open the event and choose Transfer.


  • Click View Tickets for the event you want to transfer.
  • Locate the Transfer button next to the ticket listing.
  • Select Transfer to begin the transfer process.


  1. Select tickets and enter recipient details.


  • Choose the specific ticket(s) you want to transfer.
You always transfer your tickets to tickets@theticketcollective.com


  1. Confirm the transfer and verify completion.

  • Click Confirm to submit the transfer.


  1. Locate the transfer confirmation email.
  • Check your email inbox for the Ticketmaster transfer confirmation email.
  • Keep this email available, as it must be forwarded.
  • Do not delete or archive it before forwarding.


  1. Reopen your Ticket Collective Dashboard.



  1. Copy your unique TTC email address.


  • Reread the instructions under Ticket Transfers before forwarding.
  • Copy the second email listed, your unique Ticket Collective email address.


  1. Forward the confirmation email to Ticket Collective.
  • Open the Ticketmaster transfer confirmation email in your inbox.
  • Click Forward.
  • Paste your Ticket Collective email address into the recipient field.
  • Send the email.


  1. Confirm the process is complete.
  • Verify that the transfer was completed and the confirmation email was forwarded successfully by checking back in your dashboard under Track your Ticket Transfers.
  • The Ticket Collective team will reach out to you via SMS or email if we do not receive a ticket transfer.
  • The ticket transfer process is now complete.


Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure you are logged into the correct Ticketmaster account before starting.
  • Double-check that your transfer recipient is theticketcollective.com**.**
  • Make sure you forward the transfer confirmation email to your unique Ticket Collective email address.
  • Do not assume the transfer is complete until the tickets no longer appear in your Ticketmaster account and the confirmation email has been sent.


Tips for Efficiency

  • Keep Ticketmaster, your email inbox, and the Ticket Collective Dashboard open in separate tabs or windows to move through the process faster.
  • Copy the Ticket Collective forwarding email directly from the dashboard to avoid typing errors.
  • Verify the event and ticket quantity before clicking Confirm to prevent mistakes.
  • Save the confirmation email until the transfer has been fully documented.
