AXS - How to Buy Tickets

Objective:

This tutorial demonstrates how to purchase tickets on AXS using your Ticket Collective account. You will be walked through how to navigate to the event page, completing account verification steps, and the final ticket checkout process.


Refer to the AXS Buying - What to Look for & Further Guidance tutorial for specific information on the best tickets to buy, including common seating terminology **across different venues, **how many tickets **to buy per show, **what seats to avoid (VIP/platinum seats), and more!


  1. Find the event link on your Ticket Collective dashboard.


  • Open The Ticket Collective website.
  • Navigate to your dashboard.
  • Find the event you're hoping to buy for (using provided Artist, Venue, and Event Date) under Recent Events.
  • Select Opt In.
  • Finally, you can right click Buy to copy the event link address, or open it in an incognito window.


  1. Sign in to AXS.com


  • Once you have navigated to AXS through the event link, there will be a sign in option in the top right corner.
  • Sign in using your Ticket Collective email address and chosen password. If you do not yet have an AXS account, complete the account creation process first using the* How to Create a New AXS Account tutorial.*
  • You may be prompted to **verify **your email and phone number upon logging in.
  • When your email is entered, check your main inbox AND your spam folder for an AXS email containing a verification link to click.
  • When you enter your phone number, you will receive a code to enter into AXS. This should complete the login process.

This tutorial will also assist you with what to do once you are through the queue/navigated to the seat map.

** Example of carted tickets, pre-checkout **


  1. Checking out with your Tickets


  • Once you have successfully carted tickets with assistance from the AXS buying tutorial,** **you will be redirected to a screen like the first one above.
  • **Select Continue to Checkout **option in the bottom left corner of your screen. Click this to continue.
  • You will notice a timer **pop up in the top right corner. *The checkout process must be complete before this timer runs out, or your tickets will be released back to the public. ***
  • The second checkout step will present the opportunity to select ticket add-ons, such as VIP experiences, or a "Pre-Party Experience" in this case.
DO NOT select these add-ons. If they are automatically added to your cart, select "remove all" under the blue ADD button.
  • This page will also show you the seat locations you chose, as well as the prices. Double check that both match the intended ticket purchase.
  • Select CONTINUE TO CHECKOUT.


  • The next step is choosing Delivery Method. AXS should typically offer solely a Mobile Delivery option, but if it provides further options, be sure to select Mobile Delivery.
  • Select Continue.


  1. **Adding card information **


If your Ticket Collective card information has not been uploaded to your account yet, or needs to be reentered during checkout, refer to the How to Add Credit Card / Billing Info to AXS tutorial. This will demonstrate the initial card adding process when your account is first created, as well as demonstrating where to find this info in your Ticket Collective dashboard.


  • Select the add a **card **option, as opposed to selecting PayPal or any of the options below.
  • Enter card information, along with billing information (personal address) if prompted.
  • You may select Save this payment method for future purchases. This should allow you to checkout faster on AXS next time.


  1. Finalize Checkout


  • Once card information is added, AXS will allow you to continue to the final page, where you will be prompted to **verify your order **(seat selection, pricing, etc.)
  • Ensure all information is correct before selecting Checkout.
  • You should be redirected to a page confirming your completed order. Be sure to screenshot this confirmation for records.
  • Your tickets should now appear in your account.
