SeatGeek - How to Buy Tickets
After opting in to an event opportunity, the event details and the link to the purchasing page will appear on your dashboard 15 minutes before the sale opens.
- Click the Blue Buy link to access the sale.
- Enter the event page.
- If your Event Details and Target Criteria call out a specific presale, click Unlock next to that presale, enter the provided Access Code and click Unlock.
- Utilize the filters on the seat map
- Use the filters across the top to narrow your search. SeatGeek colors seats on the map to show its own deal-quality score, not price.
- Seats with the same price can show up in different colors
- example: A row of $129 seats can appear green while another row of $129 seats appear orange.
- Do NOT use the color to judge price. Refer only to the price labels themselves.
- Locate the price bar above the seat map or at the top of the ticket list and use it to zero in on your target price range.
- Drag it to highlight the minimum and maximum amount that is within your budget.
- Select your seats
What to Avoid
- Never select a VIP package, Platinum package, Verified Resale or any resale listing.
- Avoid any listing tagged Obstructed or Limited View.
- This tag sists right next to the seat rating badge.
- Select a Listing
- Once you have confirmed the right seats, click Continue
- Continue to checkout
- If your Virtual Card is already saved, just click the card details.
- If it is not yet saved, click Add new card
- Enter your Virtual Card number, expiration date, and CVV.
- Use your own name and residential address for the billing address.
- Click Save
- Click Pay Now
- Review the Order Summary (ticket price, fees, subtotal and total one more time to make sure everything matches.
- Do NOT purchase Insurance
- Completed Purchase
