Does Participation Guarantee a Payout?

No. Participation — whether that's opting in, submitting a cart, or having a cart approved — doesn't guarantee a payout on its own. Each of those steps just means you're in the running; none of them is a payout trigger by itself. See below for what actually gets paid.

What an approved cart actually does:

  • Confirms your cart matches the event's target criteria
  • Funds your virtual credit card for that exact cart total

That's it. Approval doesn't complete the purchase for you, and it isn't itself a payout trigger.

What actually triggers payout: Payout is released in two separate 50% installments, and both require a completed purchase:

  • First 50% — once your order confirmation is submitted and verified
  • Second 50% — once your ticket transfer is submitted and verified

If the payment doesn't go through — for any reason, including a presale being delayed, canceled, or selling out before you can complete a purchase — there's no purchase, which means there's no order confirmation to submit, which means there's nothing to verify or pay out on that attempt. We don't issue partial credit for opting in, attempting a purchase, or an approved cart that didn't result in a completed purchase.

If you're still within the event's ticket limit, you may be able to try again. If your first attempt didn't go through and you're still eligible under that event's per-person ticket limit, you can submit a new cart for that event and try again.

A completed purchase and a completed transfer are what get paid — not opting in, and not approval. Once you complete a purchase and both verification steps clear, you'll receive the full two-part payout for that order.
