Taxes
  • Will I receive a 1099? Am I responsible for taxes?
    Yes. Participants are independent contractors and are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on their earnings. The Ticket Collective does not withhold taxes from payments. If you earn $2,000 or more in a calendar year, you will receive IRS Form 1099-NEC.Few readers
Payments
  • How and when do participants get paid?
    Payments are issued through secure payout platforms, including Venmo and PayPal. Payments are processed weekly on Fridays and split into two installments per completed purchase. All proof submissions must be received by 3:00Few readers
  • How are payments sent?
    Payouts are sent weekly via Venmo or PayPal after admin approval. You can set or update your payout preference at any time from your Personal Details page under the Claim Rewards section.Few readers

  • What can I realistically earn?
    Earnings depend on time invested, accuracy, and experience level. General benchmarks:Few readers
  • What is the standard compensation rate?
    The standard rate is $3.00 per ticket successfully purchased and approved. For example, purchasing 4 tickets for a single event earns $12. Certain high-demand events may carry premium rates, while lower-priority events may be offered at reduced rates. Current rates for each event are displayed in the platform portal.Few readers
  • Can I earn credit card rewards on purchases?
    In some cases, yes. Pre-approved participants may opt to use their personal credit cards to earn rewards. To qualify, you must be active in the Ticket Collective community for at least 6 months and have an average of 6 or more approved cart submissions per week. Submit a written request for approval to help@theticketcollective.com. If approved, The Ticket Collective will reimburse all expenses before your credit card due date. All rewards and cash back you earn are yours to keep.Few readers
