Ticketmaster - How to Update CC/Billing Information



Objective

This tutorial explains how to add or update billing information in a Ticketmaster account using the Ticket Collective virtual card. It ensures the correct payment details are entered so tickets can be purchased successfully.


Key Steps

 

1. Confirm you are signed in to the correct Ticketmaster account 0:19


  • Open the Ticketmaster website.
  • Sign in using your Ticket Collective email address.
  • If you do not yet have a Ticketmaster account, complete the account creation process first using the appropriate setup guide.
  • After logging in, click My Account in the top-right corner.

 

2. Open the Billing Information section 0:33


  • After logging in, click My Account in the top-right corner.
  • Locate the My Profile section.
  • Open the drop-down menu and select Billing Information.

 

3. Start adding a new payment method 0:56


  • Select Save New Payment Method.
  • Wait for the payment details page to load before entering any information.

 

4. Find your Ticket Collective virtual card details 1:01


  • Go to the Ticket Collective website.
  • Open your personal dashboard.
  • Scroll down and select Personal Details.
  • Locate your virtual card information in the left corner of the page.

 

5. Copy the virtual card number and expiration date 1:16


  • Copy the card number from Ticket Collective.
  • Copy the expiration date from Ticket Collective.
  • These details can be copied and pasted directly into Ticketmaster.

 

6. Enter the card details into Ticketmaster 1:22


  • Return to the Ticketmaster payment page.
  • Paste the card number into the appropriate field.
  • Paste the expiration date into the matching field.

 

7. Complete the billing profile fields 1:29


  • Enter your first name and last name.
  • Add your current personal address in the address fields.
  • Make sure the billing address matches your current information.

 

8. Add phone number and save the card 1:38


  • Enter your personal phone number.
  • Click OK if prompted.
  • Check the box to save this card as your primary card for ticket purchases.
  • Click Save Card to finish.

 

9. Confirm the billing information was saved 2:00


  • Verify that the billing information has been successfully uploaded.
  • If the card does not save, review the entered details and try again.


Cautionary Notes

  • Do not enter a CVV during setup; it will be collected at checkout when purchasing tickets.
  • Ensure you are using the Ticket Collective email address associated with the account.
  • Double-check that the billing name, address, and phone number are accurate and current.
  • If the account has not been created yet, complete the Ticketmaster account setup first before adding billing information.


Tips for Efficiency

  • Keep both the Ticketmaster and Ticket Collective pages open in separate tabs to reduce switching time.
  • Copy and paste the card number and expiration date directly to avoid typing errors.
  • Have your current address and phone number ready before starting.
  • Save the card as the primary payment method to speed up future ticket purchases.
