Is there a due process procedure for negligence determinations?

⚠️  Please read this section carefully. As an independent contractor, you bear certain financial responsibilities. Understanding these upfront helps you make an informed decision about becoming a participant.

Yes. The Ticket Collective follows a formal due process procedure before any negligence determination becomes final:

  • Notice — You will receive written notice of the alleged Negligent Conduct, including specific evidence and the proposed financial consequences
  • Response Period — You have 10 business days to respond with your own evidence and arguments
  • Final Determination — The Ticket Collective will issue a Final Determination within 5 business days of receiving your response
  • Appeal — You may appeal within 15 calendar days by submitting a written request
  • Appeal Review — Appeals are reviewed by personnel not involved in the original determination, with a decision issued within 10 business days
⚠️  If you do not respond within the designated timeframe, the Preliminary Determination becomes final. All appeal decisions are binding.⚠️  Zero-tolerance violations — including fictitious identity use and continuing to use flagged accounts after notification — may bypass this process entirely and result in immediate termination.
