How and when do participants get paid?

⚠️  Please read this section carefully. As an independent contractor, you bear certain financial responsibilities. Understanding these upfront helps you make an informed decision about becoming a participant.

How and when do participants get paid?

Payments are issued through secure payout platforms, including Venmo and PayPal. Payments are processed weekly on Fridays and split into two installments per completed purchase. All proof submissions must be received by 3:00 PM EST on Friday to qualify for that week's payment cycle. Processing times may vary.


First Payment  — 50% Upon Purchase Verification

The first half of your earnings is released once your purchase has been verified. To trigger this payment, you must submit one of the following:

  • Forward your order confirmation email to your unique Ticket Collective forwarding email address, OR
  • Upload a screenshot of the order confirmation page through the Order Confirmations section of your dashboard
⚠️  If proof of purchase is not submitted, the first payment will be held until documentation is received and verified. Follow-up will be required to release held funds.


Second Payment  — 50% Upon Proof of Transfer or Acceptance

The remaining 50% is released once you submit documentation confirming the ticket transfer has been completed. There are two ways to satisfy this requirement:

Option 1 — Proof of Transfer (confirms tickets have been sent):

  • A screenshot of the transfer confirmation page in your ticket account manager, OR
  • The transfer confirmation email was forwarded to your unique Ticket Collective forwarding email address

Option 2 — Proof of Acceptance (confirms the recipient has accepted the tickets):

  • A screenshot of the event page in your ticket account manager showing the transferred tickets and the recipient's name and/or email address, OR
  • The transfer acceptance email was forwarded to your unique Ticket Collective forwarding email address
⚠️  If proof of transfer or acceptance is not submitted, the second payment will be held until the transfer can be verified. Submit proof as soon as the transfer is complete.
